The area of drilling oil wells reached 31 thousand meters

The deputy CEO of Iran’s National Drilling Company said in the drilling operation: the drilling area of oil and gas wells in the first four months of this year in the oil-rich areas of the country reached 31 thousand 35 meters with the use of this company’s rigs.

According to the public relations report of Iran’s National Drilling Company, Hamid Reza Khosh Aind added on Sunday (August 5th): During this period, the drilling operations of 39 exploratory, development, descriptive and repair wells were completed and delivered to the applicant companies and put into operation.

He stated: Out of this number of wells, one exploration ring, 15 development rings, one description ring and 22 supplementary repair rings were of which 31 wells were drilled in the scope of activity of the National Company of Southern Oil-bearing Regions.

Khosh Ayind said: Also, three wells were drilled in the operational area of Iran’s continental shelf oil company, four in the development projects of the oil engineering and development company, and one for the exploration management of the National Iranian Oil Company.

The deputy CEO of Iran’s National Drilling Company in drilling operations, pointing out that the company has more than 70 land and sea drilling rigs in its possession, added: Currently, 9 land rigs of the company’s fleet are moving in operational positions.
